do both models give the option to use conventional drill bits for wood in non impact mode?
if so, does this require me to buy a second ‘non sds’ key chuck or an sds adaptor? Which method is best?
Borrowed this particular drill from a friend to do some work on a garden wall. Im no expert on drills, but it worked fine and did the job that I wanted it to do. It did seem to “tire” though and struggle a little half way through the job. But it got the job done so cant fault it there.
It is quite expensive though compared to other models in the same class and I have a feeling that you are paying extra for the name Dewalt. Would I recommend this drill to others? I don’t think I would actually. Im sure there is better to be found in the price range.
